I tried Vonage in early 2009 and quickly decided I did not want to continue the service.I canceled / closed the account they repeatedly charged my bank account despite repeated calls and emails from me.
I finally had to close the bank account they were charging to stop them from automatically debiting my account. Now, more than 3 years later, I am receiving collection notices and calls for $139 in "unpaid" charges. I see online that there are many more instances like mine.
Most seem to be from 2009.Any further info on how to fight this would be appreciated.
