This company is not honest and straight forward on selling their service, at sale point they were very nice and by giving wrong information they made me full to by the service for example they offered no contract service, but now that I’m suffering from lack of service...

Poor service! They advertise free phones and it's a lie, all you get free is the little box to connect to your internet and it still doesn't work! I am so pissed!

VONAGE A TRAP FOR $9.99
I WAS OFFERED VONAGE FOR $9.99 per month, the person who was selling vonage almost begging that please buy vonage. Later I decided to cancel the service, and I was told that you can please keep the service for $9.99 for ever, and if there will be any issue we will take care for it for you. All of a sudden VONAGE STARTED OVERCHARGING MY ACCOUNT almost about $39 a month, I complained and asked them to let me talk to same person, and listen to the recorded conversation. Leaving aside sorting out the matter, VONAGE SENT AN EMAIL, STATING that there will be a termination fee, WHEN I ASKED WHY, they did not have any reason, THEN I ASKED WHY DO NOT YOU REFUND MY MONEY, I DO NOT NEED YOUR SERVICE, I DO NOT GET ANY RESPONSE AS YET. THE QUALITY IS NOT WORTH OF THIS MUCH MONEY, THERE IS FREQUENT CALL DROPAGE AND FREQUENT ISSUE WITH CALL QUALITY>

SEVERAL ISSUES, POOR QUALITY, BILLING, DAMAGED or DEFECTIVE
Vonage billed me for closed account when my internet service was not working so I had no Vonage service
Back in 2008 my Roadrunner internet service quit working due to a transmission problem in my neighborhood. Therefore my Vonage phone service did not work! I cancelled Vonage and they billed me for $105.44 for early termination even thought I explained by letter that my Vonage phone did not work. Vonage turned my account over to Penn Credit Agency and I wrote to Penn stating my problem in full and saying I would NEVER pay this bill. Vonage sells a service and when this service does not work then their contract is null and void. I told relatives and friends to never use Vonage. I presently use Voipo and have had no problem with this company. Vlopo has many services including free fax. Back ion 2011 Roadrunner fixed the transmission problem so I am back using Roadrunner for internet. Fred Masinter

Vonage in Tomball, Texas - Refuse to stop billing me
I signed up for Vonage in January of 2013. The service was interfering with my internet and cable so I cancelled the service in February of 2013. I really didn’t even have the service for a month before I cancelled it. Here is it five months I check my account and Vonage bills me five months back billing. They refuse to refund me money, saying that I did not call and cancel. I am so pisst. Because I had not cancelled the service I would not be this angry. Why the wait five months later. Then they tell me that I have an early cancellation fee that I have to. This is a joke!!! I have to go through my back to get my money back and dispute those charges. I advise every one not get this service it’s a joke and rip off.
Vonage in Wylie, Texas - Deceptive company with fraudulent practices
Vonage marketing is a big fraud. They deceive people by luring them into false promises of gift cards when signing up. These gift cards will never never ever show up. I've followed up with their customer service for the last 5 months for my gift card, each time getting a reply saying the request has been escalated and that a gift card will be sent pretty soon, but of course nothing shows up. This is a company that adopts these fraudulent practices by deceiving its customers, so you can very well imagine the corporate culture. I'll never recommend anyone to go with Vonage. There are much cheaper options out there, where you are not made any false promises. It's all black and white and very upfront. This company will go after your *** if you try to disconnect, by imposing false charges on your bill, such as disconnect fees, termination fees, 1 month notice fees etc. They'll go after your credit too without giving you any recourse or option to argue with them on their own deceitful practices. Stay away...they won't survive US market any longer....get ready to sell yourself vonage or file for bankruptcy.
I paid Vonage and did not recived the service
vonage international unlimited very bad. I had a contract for a year with them, they did not fullfilled the contract (lots of calls did not go out) so I wanted part of my money back because I was just able to do 50% of the calls, so they did NOT return the money and I COULD NOT MAKE THE CALLS I was suppouse to do. They took my money and I did not received the service. they promiseD a service that they were not able to provide. their answer was that "IT WAS NOT THEIR PROBLEM" so I pay for something they were sopouse to give me and I dont recieve the service, they said it was 1 carriers they had and that's why IT WAS NOT THIER PROBLEM. they offered the service, recieved the money and later is NOT THIER PROBLEM, very funny answer.

APARENTLY THEY ARE NOT SATISFYED SINCE I GOT A LEGAL NOTICE FROM THE UNITED STATES FISTRICT COURT OF NEW JERSEY ABAOUT A CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT.
