The worse experience I've ever had once my year is up I'm done with this company. Customer service is *** on fire they hung up on me atleast 5 times when I was trying to get my telephone ported

I was calling between them and the company I was porting my phone from. I tried to explain to them what the problem was, and I guess because I'm the customer they know everything not always the case. People learn Every day!! I hope during my year I have with them never have to call customer service again! I finally spoke with someone who quickly understood what the issue thank you we as customers also have a voice.

Unable to provide information on own reporting. No supervisor available. No call backs or follow up when requesting support or information. Bad experience overall. 30 days later still waiting to resolve a easy question, what classifies as voicemail calls in phone reporting.

I would not recommend Vonage for business service to anyone I know. When I needed their customer service to fix a problem, they miserably failed.
I suffered for multiple weeks of no service on my business line through Vonage.

I talked with their customer service 4 times, ended up buying one new modem, then receiving a 2nd new modem, neither of which worked. At no time did my phone service get fixed. After multiple weeks, I got so frustrated that I decided to change service.
My new service provider told me specifically not to cancel my service, that they would take care of it. But they didn't, and Vonage kept charging me my monthly fee in advance until I noticed it on my bill.

When I called and had to cancel my service myself, they refused to refund my monthly fee for the upcoming month, a month in which I have no service through Vonage because the new phone has been through another provider for 4 weeks already.
When I asked for a refund, the agent kept trying to name who to blame for the problem. I don't care who is to blame. I care that they are charging me for service that they cannot provide.

Would you pay someone to mow your lawn even though they don't provide that service anymore?
Vonage makes it easy to acquire their service. But if you have any problems, they clearly are not in the business of servicing their customers, even if you are a long-term customer (9 years) like I was.

Vonage nickels and dimes you for anything at all. To even downgrade your account from a higher paying plan to a lower paying plan they charge you in excess of $10. They are determined to squeeze every last drop of blood that they can get.

Have complained so many times about not being able to make international calls in about 90% of the time, despite my subscription. Additional complaints about not being able to receive international calls, that would appear on my device as blocked calls. Have been promised that Vonage would correct that, but in vain. When I finally cancelled my service. The operator claims that I am a few days in a new cycle and that I have to pay for it, instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. Also my debt of 25$ was sent to a collection agency. This is despite that I have been a customer with the company for 20 years. Shame on Vonage.

Had to contact the Better Business Bureau, which helped me out of the contract.The person on the other side of the phone call was very impolite.No refund

Tried to change with account information, waited on hold for over an hour. E-mailed, no response back. Requested Vonage cancel my account and to stop charging me, no avail. This is the worst customer service I ever had to deal.

Absolutely the worst company ever. Calls from existing customers go on hold for up to 30 minutes and then get disconnected. Existing customer chat option once they connect and know it is an issue to resolve, the chat after ten minutes of idle time where the agent pretends to be researching the issue. The only way to instantly get through and get a live person is to select the new customer option from the IVR where the agent won't/can't help you, and when explaining the issue, they tell you that Customer Care is not taking calls and use the chat, then they disconnect the call when you push back.

I've been trying to stop payment on this account for 2 months. We cancelled this service in August. I can not get a person to talk with me. They apparently cancelled our service but did not cancel the payment. So I can't talk with anyone because the service has been cancelled. I am so frustrated I could scream. We had issues with them from day one of service.

To add insult to Vonage's poor service, when the replacement box arrived, there is contact information on the packing slip.The online help center listed on the slip goes to a "we're a little lost sometimes" webpage, so doesn't work, and the toll-free #:1-86*-***-**** goes to a non-working number.This company truly has customer service problems that are totally unacceptable. Shame they can't get customer service together.

I have been a customer for 25+ years with Vonage. My internet box has been causing calls to not be heard so I called to find out what can be done. The rep, speaking poor English and hard to understand, said she would ship a new one out to me. Then I see they charged my credit card almost $100 for this privilege! I was never told I had to pay for this box and I am truly disgusted with the company for charging me to solve their problem, not my problem!If someone can recommend another similar VoIP company, I want to switch. Shame given that I have been a loyal customer as long as I have been.
