Vonage advertises unlimited international minutes but when you start using it for more than 3000 minutes, you would receive tons of email form them begging to use fewer minutes. They will write standard email -"Recently you were informed that your account, , is not in compliance with our Terms of Service (TOS) or our Reasonable Use Policy. As previously communicated, we review our customers' usage and calling patterns to ensure we are able to provide the best value possible to all of our customers. Over 95% of our customers on our unlimited residential calling plans use less than 3000 minutes per month* and do not exhibit a combination of patterns suggesting impermissible or abnormal use, including but not limited to, excessive: • Unique numbers called• Call lengths• Call forwarding/transferring• Conference calling• Short duration calls• Number of minutes use"The issue is that we cannot use the phone based on how others use. Vonage lure the customers with advertisement but when we start using it, they will come up many reasons to limit the usage. The customer service is run mostly by rude Indians and they only show five senses in their reply to our complaints (BTW, I am Indian). They will automatically change your account to extract more money from your credit card. You cannot remove your credit card details out of their website. Asked that from Vonage as well and they said that the "Umlimited" is based on a fair usage policy that prevents users from using the vonage phones to send "Mass calls"
