Vonage - Malicious attack on my family
we have had the same phone number for over 10 years and have had it ported between different companies several times.we made the mistake of dealing with Vonage for a time and decided to leave .
they notified us that it would take a month to port the service( other companies manage this in a few days) My father passed away this week and we have been trying to make preparations for the service. Vonage has stopped letting calls through other than Government calls that could be the CRTC so that family friends and business get a message that this number is not in service. we can still call out on this number and it is recognized as ours.
Vonage might just be getting a call to appear in court as this will now be considered a Malicious Attack on our family.we are lodging a formal complaint with the CRTC (Canadian regulatory board) and will consider legal action please save yourselves this pain Don't use Vonage!
