Vonage Complaint

Vonage Bills a month in advance upon signup. Last month I was a little late on my payment and Vonage shut down my service. I could no longer make calls or receive calls. I Tried canceling my account thru online chat. The person stated he could not cancel my account. A few days later I called thru my cell to cancel the account they were only interested in me paying not canceling my service. Finally, this Foreign Guy comes on and said he was going to transfer me, he then transferred me and I heard a voice tape that stated they will make their decision within a week and email me. This Company is Insane.

Vonage Phone Plan Review

Do not believe the ads that say Vonage can be used on satellite systems. I tried it on both Hughes and Dish systems. The upload speed is entirely too low. It would need to be at lease ten times faster to meet the minimum requirements. Vonage sounds like they offer some really good plans, but dont waste your money if you are on satellite.

I called was to stop anonymous and private calls. next was for calls unable to hear clearly. previously I was told that they call me at home and was routed to my private phone I told them it was their mistakes. yesterday your company Vonage did the same thing in routing my home calls to my private phone. I never consented to it. Mr. Hadish supervisor in technical had the nerve to lie to me. this happen 10/20/15 end at 315pm . my home number is 954-391-7939. this Vonage is not good for honest people. The crooks were suppose to cancel my service I told them I.don't want their service after 1 day they said it was canceled the lying scamming piece of *** stole $102.00 from me when I told them the service was supposed to be canceled they said yes we see there was no calls made or received but we can't give back refunds I think a class act law suit should be brought up on them that's how you teach a crooked phone company a lesson for cheating so many people. *** *** company. I certainly disagree with you. My exprience was not just saved me money right away compared my previous phone service, but I can call unlimited over 60 countries including United States, Canada, PuertoRico, Mexico and so on.

Vonage is awful

We were with VONAGE for well over a year, and had a horrible connection. I stopped handing out our number and commonly used my cell phone. Within the first year I tried to cancel and they wanted $85. They claim no contract but it's a lie. After a year and a half of paying for a service I never used I spoke to a CSR and explained to her that I had requested help and was told that in order to get quality sound I would have to disconnect my wireless modem. My husband and I are both in online school, so wireless internet is a must. After She asked me if I wanted to reconsider and I specifically told her yes, I received an email thanking me for choosing to stay with their company. I emailed corporate and was told that I as the wife could not cancel because the account was in my husbands name. I explained to them that I opened the account in his name, I have handled it the entire time. He has never once even spoken to the people. They are refusing to cancel our account and my only chance is to close my bank account down. I shouldn't have to do this at all. Vonage is a joke. Their service sucks and they do nothing but lie and give you grief once you want to cancel.

We had vonage for almost 2yrs and then moved. Upon moving we no longer needed their service and they refused to cancel our account without almost 140$.

I don't know how to stop this they are still taking out money every month and this has gone on over a year. they are stealing from us.
