Fax line quit working six months after I got service service. No one could help me and the line was not fixed. I asked multiple times to speak to somebody in charge and was told there was no one. Refused to cancel my account stating I had a contracT for 1 year difficult to understand customer service because of poor English. Had to obtain another carrier for our business. The contract will be up in two weeks have attempted to schedule a cancellation so t I will not be charged anymore . The contract is up January 19. Lady in customer service could not help me Again difficult to understand. Does not appear to be anyone in charge or in authority to go to.

Vonage in Atlanta, Georgia - Incompetence abounds

I called Vonage Business Service concerning my voicemail that had never recorded messages from callers. The technician disconnected my phones. I called back and the next technician had to access my computer to address the no service issue. I have been told I will receive a call back each time, but I have had to call Vonage each day. Now, nine days later, neither my computers nor phones work and Vonage refuses to send replacement phones. I have spoken to 6 different service technicians and all have taken me through the same procedures with no results. I regret ever dealing with Vonage. Please do not make the same mistake.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. As the title says was with them since the beginning of their company. Two months ago I wanted to add a line and the quoted me the standard price of $26.00 a month which is close to the $38.00 paying for my original line. No Deals for long term customers. That made me look elsewhere and i came up with a much better deal. Basically for free with my TV and internet carrier. Called Vonage to port over the number and they said it would take 3-5 business days. That put me over by 1 day on the billing cycle. When I called back after the number was ported over they wanted payment of $38.00 and threatened me with Collection, if I didn't pay. Furious I asked to speak to a supervisor and then after a long wait they said they would remove the billing and acted like they were doing me a big favor. What they were doing was the right thing. Seriously threatening a 14 year customer with collections for going over billing date by 10 hours and the whole reason for going over was because they can't port the number over.....Wow

The service I ordered is not even on their website. It's a "secret" offer they give you if not interested in other offers.

$4.99 a month plus tax and fees, 5 cents a minute to call the US, but only 1.7 cents to call India! Because they must be based in India, all...

Vonage - This company rips off its customers, makes us do the install work, then bills US!

In September 2017, I ordered two phone lines and fax line for my business. Vonage sent these ultra-cheap phones. Hooked them up, didn't work. Attempted to troubleshoot for three days. Called Vonage who said I need a NetGear router and they would fax me (at home) the kind that was compatible. They sent 30 pages which includes 2 pages of compatibles and 28 of incompatibles (used up a lot of ink). I had to pay for the router. Tried to install them again, no success. Called Vonage, spent an hour on the phone. The service representative kept taking me through the same non-working process. After an hour of frustration, he said he would call me back. Never did. Sent emails saying "Help! My phones are not working." On responses I got were ads for more Vonage services. Finally, in December, I was tired to being Vonage's technician. After spending two hours with a rep, the only thing he accomplished was to get one phone ringing even though we couldn't talk on it, and I still could make no calls. He said I needed to buy new handset cords. Why? Weren't these cheap phones at least new? I have a business, no phones, no one can call me! The next service rep I got named Will (who refused his full name) said I could cancel but I wouldn't be getting any money back. $57.00 x 3 months! He could care less. I'm waiting now for his superior to call me back. Yeah, right.

Could Not Cancel Account With Vonage

Vonage has been taking money from our business account since August 2015. We had not been doing business with them since that date. I called the bank and put a Stop Payment on them. I called Vonage about how long they had been taking money from our account and that we had not used their service since the above mentioned date. I understand that my husband had gone into a Vonage store to cancel the service at that time and obviously it went unnoticed. I noticed on our business statements that they had been taking money every month for non-service. Aaron, at Vonage, said to call our bank and stop payment and that they would refund the money back. I do not trust them to do this, I called our bank again and they are still investigating how much Vonage has taken and how far back it goes. But, since they have been charging different amounts each month, the bank is going to charge us $31.00 to make a Stop Payment action.
