DESHONESTIDAD DE VENTAS DE ASESORES VONAGE

Les cuento que compre unos teléfonos Motorola que venían en una promoción especial por adquirirlos *** la cajita del servicio de Vonage y termino siendo un robo, estafa y fraude por parte de Vonage. Resulta que cuando adquirí la promoción (en la cual solo me interesaban los teléfonos,) yo le informe al vendedor de la promoción que no necesitaba el servicio de vonage y él me dijo que no me preocupara que lo podía cancelar sin ningún problema en el mes de garantía. Pues yo llamo en el mes de garantía a cancelar el servicio porque además me parecía muy costoso y me encuentro *** un señor del área de cancelaciones el cual me empieza a envolver y a vender” de nuevo el servicio, explicándome las ventajas y demás información… Yo insistiendo en cancelarlo porque no lo iba a usar y por el costo tan alto mensual y luego este señor me ofrece una opción en la cual me dice : (“yo le voy a dar un crédito por 4 meses y le voy a cambiar el plan para que le quede más bajo el costo MIENTRAS USTED PIENSA LA CANCELACION, ya que nuestro producto es muy bueno”)… Pero OJO, NUNCA HABLO E INFORMO NADA RESPECTO A MULTAS O PENALIDADES POR CANCELACIONES LUEGO DEL PERIODO DEL CREDITO… (Yo asumi que no iba a tener ningún problema ya que él me dio la opción de pensarlo y si no lo quería finalmente se podía cancelar SIN NINGUN PROBLEMA NI COSTO ADICIONAL!!) PUES NO!! Yo viendo la amabilidad del señor y creyendo en la buena fe de Él, me pregunta que si acepto el acuerdo de esta “nueva opción” que me dio (que al final fue toda una artimaña, estafa y robo) y yo inocentemente caí en su estrategia mal intencionada, deshonesta de venta y acepte!!!!... Sin saber que al final me iban a cobrar una penalidad por no haber cancelado en ese mismo instante.. MIENTRAS que el vendedor del área de cancelaciones solo se encargó de que pasara el mes de garantía para luego amarrarme y obligarme a tener el servicio *** ellos por 1 año, Y pagar por un servicio que no necesitaba, ni usaba y era muy costoso para mí. Hoy me debitaron de mi tarjeta el cobro de la mensualidad porque el crédito se acabó, llame para cancelar el plan por que finalmente no lo use nunca y no lo iba hacer… y me llevo la sorpresa que me informan lo siguiente: (O continua pagando solo por tener la línea que el costo es de 7 dólares por los siguientes meses o, si cancela la línea tiene una penalidad de 80 usd!!) … es decir me obligan a quedarme *** ellos hasta noviembre pagando solo por tener una línea y si yo la llego a usar me cobran además cargos adicionales!! TODO ESTO por la falta de honestidad del vendedor que en el primer mes me enredo *** sus ofertas y no dejo realizar la cancelación que ese momento no tenía ningún costo y AHORA YO ESTOY PAGANDO LA MALA FE DE EL Y ACEPANTANDO QUE ME ROBARON EN MI CARA. En conclusión, Si van a cancelar el servicio de VONAGE durante el primer mes de servicio que es de “garantía”, Cancélenlo!!! … Así les ofrezcan créditos en las cuentas y meses gratis, ya que de no cancelarlo en ese mes de garantía” y aceptando el nuevo acuerdo que les ofrezcan, luego quedan atados por un año y les cobraran una multa que puede ser desde los 200 usd. EL ASESOR *** ADVERTIR DE LA PENSALIDAD DE CANCELACION Y NO LO HIZO!

Awful service and even worse customer service!

Vonage service is awful! Their customer service is even worse! Stay away from Vonage. They will suck you into some sort of contract and charge you more than you expect to be charged. Customer service sucks!! It should not take 45 minutes to cancel an account and disconnect service that should have been cancelled a month prior in the first place. Not to mention, a charge of almost three times the month prior that they refused to credit even though the problem was on their end. I don't understand how a company can get away with overcharging so many people. I have read so many other reviews with people having problems cancelling their service also.

Long time vonage customer who pays annually every February ($404). I cancelled my account in June of this year because it keeps getting more expensive for service i dont use. I asked about the prorated refund of the prepaid fees (July thru next February) and was told i wont get any refund because it is past the 45 day limit from when I paid in February. That aint right... rip-off.

Today I received an email from Ms. Keely of the Vonage Executive Response Team who agreed to refund me for the 8 unused months of service.

I believe that this action is a fair and equitable conclusion to my issue with them. I only wish that it didn't have to escalate to this level to resolve an issue of fairness.

I called them to cancel my connection after completing this month billing cycle. I said to them I am moving to new service, so I want to keep same number. For that they suggested to keep your number at least 10 business days. Then I said ok , don’t cancel my account. After an hour I got an email, account got cancelled. They just took revenge as I am moving to new service. I am really pissed on this. I called them for this, their response is not good. They are asking one month charge for to reactivate.

THET WON'T LISTEN!!!

I HAD A 12 MO 9.99 SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL SINCE APRIL.

I DON'T WANT TO GO INTO IT TO MUCH BECAUSE OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND A HEART CONDITION. I AM 72 YEARS.

I HAVE CALLED 5 TIMES TO CANCEL WITH NO TRUTH ON THIS. THEY CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD LAST MONTH AND CALLED CARD SERVICES AND TOLD THEM NO MORE CHARGES BY THEM. THE CARD COMPANY HAS FOLLOWED MY INSTRUCTIONS.

GUESS WHAT THIS MONTH THEY WENT AHEAD AGAIN BUT WAS DENIED. I CALLED THEM JULY 4 AND SAID YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. PLUS I TOLD THEM TO LOOK BACK AND THEY WILL SEE I NEVER WAS CONNECTED. I JUST PAID $9.99 FOR 12 MONTHS.........THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY IN MY LIFE TO DEAL WITH.

THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT WITH SUPERVISOR, AND CALL YOU BACK. GUESS WHAT THEY NEVER CALL BACK. UNREAL THIS COMPANY HAS SUCH BAD PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM.

A COUPLE PEOPLE WERE GOING TO GO WITH THEM. I MET THEM AT BRANDS MART, AND AFTER HEARING STORY THEY SAY NO THANKS WITH VONAGE.

Port Out number

I am with Voyage from 3 years, Now I wanted to port out my number but We were failed 8 times. Supervisor Shravankumar told me He going to email me ticket number in 10 min. I never got until today(over 4days). Representative before that gave me ticket number and said to me they going to call me in 48 hours. (7days no call).

Lastly spoke to another supervisor - Luce- ID- 553****. He told He cant do anything for port-out.

11 times constant trying to port-out but- no good representative responded well. No idea company like Vonage take care their customers while there are with him but for port out they dont care.

Vonage - Cancelled account but still charged

I cancelled my Vonage account in April 2014. I recently found that they have been charging me fraudulently every month since then. They agree that there is no activity on the account and they that I requested it to be cancelled but they never stopped charging my account. Really frustrated with this company. The reps are hopeless too and the call goes on and on for several minutes. The end result will be the same. When I asked for a refund, they wanted me to check with my financial institution. Will never ever go back to this service I would like to get a full refund of they have charged me.

Vonage does bad business

I ordered Vonage for my home business after seeing a commercial on tv. I had Vonage exactly 1 month and 24 days. From the start during the order process, a customer rep gave me a different number then what I requested. I also had home phone interruptions as well...I was unable to make outbound calls and had frequent drop calls on my cell phone. I had issues with logging in to my online account on Vonage's website. i called to cancel the horrible service today 4/27/16. I was asked to pay an early termination fee which I agreed to if I cancelled the service. So I take full responsibility. *** VONAGE!

I called and closed my account with Vonage in Sept 2013. I recently found out they have been charging my CC every month since then. OK, I should have checked my CC statement more carefully, but the fact remain Vonage has been fraudulently charging me. They see there is no calls on the account since then, but they will not own up to their f*5$ up and refund my money. They show me in their records as calling to make change to my account but to only change my calling service. But conveniently can't produce the call recording. If you can't produce the call recordings, why record every call. Some phone company.... I am sorry I ever got involved with this excuse of a company and will never consider them for any future business. By the way I use VOIP all in my company... BUNCH OF CROOKS, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE *** H0135..

Mislead consumers & useless customer service

Vonage is by far the worst phone service provider that I have had the displeasure of encountering. After discovering that they repeatedly called my elderly mother to switch her phone service promising a 'low' monthly rate, I attempted to sort out canceling her service. She had called the previous day to switch her phone number to Comcast. A Vonage agent kept her on the phone for an hour until she agreed to pay the $120.00 to cancel her contract. Once with Comcast, we discovered that they did not wait for the phone number to be ported but cancelled her account. She was left being able to call out but not receive calls. When I called Vonage to find out why her number was not yet released, I was informed that the account was cancelled so the number could no longer be transferred to Comcast. I let the agent know that I could see that her service was still active because any incoming calls immediately went to her Vonage voicemail service. The agent then reversed her first claim and said that yes, the account was still active. When I asked about the cancellation fee, she said she was not showing a charge to cancel and she would not be charged. I asked her to clarify where the $120.00 fee came from and she could not give me a straight answer but instead offered to transfer me to billing. The billing agent took over at that point and refused to tell me anything about charges until I gave him either a PIN number, credit card info or the name of the plan. I explained that I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with another agent at VONAGE who just transferred me to him & was able to verify the account without problems. Although I appreciate their security measures, the agent would not even answer a simple general question about the fee to cancel an account. His response was evasive and rambling. I was left at a complete loss as to how to get a straight answer from any angle, they made no attempt to clarify their contracts that they quote to customers. Do your research before you choose Vonage. The cheap rate correlates to cheap customer service. The saying "You get what you pay for" applies to this shady company.

Added Vonage to my plan for international calls. My sister there is very ill. Could NOT access their system for 6 weeks. All CSR calls started in USA and were immediately transferred to India, where "trained" staff had no idea what I was talking about (poor English) and refused to pass my call back to the US. Internet access to this problem was non available. I sent ltr. with return receipt to Vonage. It was accepted, no action. I still get billed for their service. My call today went to NJ. Adele canceled my service and t/f me to cancellation dept for refund. Ishima refused to refund my money, because "I was on contract"! I said I could not use their service ever and they broke the contract, not me. Therefore I should get a refund. She offered to t/f me to Tech Support to fix the problem. I do not need support, I want a refund for undelivered services. Ishima then hung up on me. Do NOT use Vonage. They are over their head and do not care and listen to the customer, but still charge you!!!!!

VONAGE is the Worst!

Vonage cancelled the transfer of my old phone number. It took 2 weeks to transfer the old # and after 10 days of using my old number they cancelled stating that the number transfer was rejected. But when I called my old service provider they stated that Vonage never contacted them so now I have lost my phone number of 25 years. When I called Vonage I got the call center in India. The customer service was horrible.. they were so rude! I spent the day talking to 3 different customer service reps in India at the end I asked to speak to a manager and he was worse then the first 3!! DON'T DO IT.

Vonage customer service JUST GETS WORSE. The problem is that whenever someone calls me they cannot get through. They hear people talking but the call doesn't go through. I've called customer service numerous times. They ALWAYS say, they will fix the problem, and they NEVER do. They always say the will have someone call me back, and they NEVER do. I'm getting my old phone service back on April 19th. In the meantime I would like to have my phone working PROPERLY. Can you have someone fix this problem and get back to me? Edward Mattera
